Job Role

The Licensed Engineer – Cabin is responsible for all aspects of cabin and appearance maintenance across the B787, A321, and other aircraft types. This includes leading a team of technicians to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and company standards. The role plays a key part in maintaining cabin quality, minimizing downtime, and supporting Riyadh Air’s operational excellence.

General Activities

  • Supervise a team of Technicians and Mechanics performing Line Maintenance on our aircraft.
  • Conduct inspections and certify both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring timely defect rectification to maintain aircraft serviceability.
  • Complete all assigned work in a timely manner to optimize aircraft downtime.
  • Ensure aircraft technical logbook, maintenance documentation, job cards, work packages, and zonal handovers are completed accurately and within prescribed timescales.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness within assigned work areas.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes, and procedures.
  • Promote a just culture and report all incidents and occurrences in the Safety Management System.
  • Highlight any technical issues, discrepancies, or other concerns to the Duty Manager.
  • Support the Cabin Line Maintenance Manager with the day-to-day running of allocated aircraft and be able to deputize during periods of absence.
  • Actively support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean principles.
  • Undertake any reasonable activities as required, including working away from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Profile Requirements

Professional Experience

  • Broad aviation technical knowledge, including considerable experience within commercial air transport line maintenance operations on wide-body and narrow-body aircraft.

Academic Qualifications

  • Hold a GACA Aircraft Maintenance License or have the ability to transfer to one.

Competency Requirements

  • Ability to hold the appropriate security clearance required for the role.
  • Active team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of GACA regulations.
  • Understanding of risk management techniques and principles of Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, both internal and external to the organization.
