Riyadh Air (RX), headquartered in the Saudi Capital, is the new national airline that's shaping the future of flying. It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a digitally native airline that will connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.
Are you passionate about architecting long-term maintenance strategies that keep a world-class fleet flying safely and efficiently?
You will own the scheduling of fleet maintenance to maximise fleet utilisation and availability, ensuring Riyadh Air operates as a safe, compliant, sustainable, and operationally world-class airline.
In this role, you will develop and maintain long-term maintenance plans aligned with our strategic fleet plan, managing everything from aircraft induction and phase-out to heavy maintenance checks and major component replacements. You will coordinate with Maintenance Planning teams and MRO providers to secure capacity for scheduled base maintenance events, ensuring precise aircraft downtime allocation and optimised availability.
You can expect to analyse fleet utilisation trends, conduct "what-if" scenarios for operational disruptions, identify life-limited parts and major component requirements, and collaborate with Finance to forecast long-term capital expenditure. You'll monitor key fleet maintenance KPIs, provide senior management with strategic recommendations, and work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure maintenance activities are fully resourced and operationally feasible.
This is a critical role where your strategic planning will directly enhance operational excellence, fleet reliability, and Riyadh Air's journey to becoming a world-class airline.
Degree qualified or equivalent, you will demonstrate 5+ years of progressive experience in aviation strategic maintenance planning, ideally with hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance planning, modifications, upgrade programs, and project management.
You are expected to possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with proven experience working alongside maintenance teams, MRO providers, and regulatory bodies. You will also bring proficiency in project management methodologies and attention to detail that ensures compliance with the highest industry standards.
We'd love to hear from you even more if you possess demonstrated experience with AMOS software, as well as an AME/A&P License or engineering qualifications in Aviation or another relevant field.
This is your opportunity to shape the future of air travel. Bring your best and show us why you can own this position within Riyadh Air.
