About the Role

Are you passionate about ensuring aircraft safety and operational readiness through expert structural maintenance and composite repair?

 

You will ensure the safety and operational readiness of aircraft by conducting inspections, performing routine maintenance, and executing necessary repairs. This role involves restoring aircraft to optimal condition through structural repairs and component replacements, while maintaining accurate maintenance records and adhering to safety standards. Adherence to GACA regulations, company policies, and E&M procedures is paramount, ensuring all activities comply with safety standards and industry best practices.

 

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive inspections of aircraft systems and structures to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational readiness, perform routine maintenance checks addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and enhance aircraft reliability, and execute structural repairs and replace faulty components to restore aircraft to optimal condition and extend service life.

 

You can expect to collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical problems implementing effective solutions that improve system performance, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, and ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency. You'll coach and train new technical staff fostering skill development, while utilizing your strong knowledge of Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs) to assess damage, determine allowable limits, and identify appropriate repair procedures.

 

This is a critical role where your structural expertise and composite repair skills will directly enhance aircraft safety, operational readiness, and Riyadh Air's commitment to maintenance excellence.

About You

Diploma's degree in aviation management, engineering, or a related field with a valid GACA/FAA/EASA or other CAA Aircraft Maintenance License, you will demonstrate 8+ years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment with at least 5 years maintaining aircraft composites and structures, including knowledge of aircraft composite repair materials, assessment, methodologies, and processes.

 

You are expected to possess strong knowledge of Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), with experience evaluating damage on composite aircraft structures including Boeing 787. You will bring skills in performing both wet lay-up and prepreg composite repairs in accordance with SRM, proficiency in the use of hot bonders for composite curing and bonded repairs, and analytical thinking with the capability to conduct thorough investigations to determine underlying causes of system malfunctions.

 

We'd love to hear from you even more if you possess Boeing 787 Composite Repair certification, familiarity with aviation regulations and industry standards, team collaboration abilities with experience coaching and training technical staff, and the ability to hold appropriate police security clearance required for the role.
