About the Company

Riyadh Air (RX), headquartered in the Saudi Capital, is the new national airline that's shaping the future of flying. It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a digitally native airline that will connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.

About the Role

Are you passionate about ensuring airframe systems excellence and maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability?

You will be responsible for ensuring the continued airworthiness of assigned ATA Chapters in accordance with regulatory requirements, manufacturer service documents, and company policies. This role is instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency through proactive monitoring, technical evaluation, and engineering support for aircraft systems maintenance activities.

In this role, you will review and implement Airworthiness Directives issued by regulatory authorities along with manufacturers' Service Bulletins to ensure full compliance with GACA regulations and maintain airworthiness and safety standards across the Riyadh Air fleet. You will prepare and issue Engineering Orders Dispositions in the maintenance information system for the implementation of systems inspections, repairs, and modifications, while providing expert technical support to line maintenance for systems that fall outside approved limits.

You can expect to stay informed of global fleet systems issues and engineering solutions via OEM platforms and industry networks, investigate and propose solutions to enhance dispatch reliability for defects or components under aircraft systems ATAs, and support maintaining the RVSM program ensuring compliance with the most up-to-date regulatory standards. You'll participate in aircraft modification and upgrade projects affecting airframe systems, monitor and report on system performance trends and reliability issues, and assist with digital diagnostic tools, predictive maintenance systems, and condition monitoring.

This is a critical role where your technical expertise will directly enhance airframe systems reliability, dispatch performance, and Riyadh Air's commitment to operational excellence and safety standards.

About You

Bachelor's degree qualified in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, you will demonstrate 5+ years of progressive experience as a systems engineer in an airline technical services/engineering department, with experience on modern commercial aircraft airframe systems (A320/A350 and B787 family preferred).

You are expected to possess proven experience in complex airframe systems troubleshooting and repair, with prior experience providing technical support during heavy maintenance, line maintenance, and AOG situations. You will bring good knowledge of e-Enabling technologies and software installation processes for airframe systems, sound knowledge of GACA, FAA, and EASA regulations related to aircraft maintenance and continued airworthiness, and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

We'd love to hear from you even more if you possess Airbus A320 or Boeing 787 Level II type training, familiarity with Maintenance Information Systems such as AMOS, and proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.

This is your opportunity to shape the future of air travel. Bring your best and show us why you can own this position within Riyadh Air.
